Accommodation:

• While staying in Fljótstunga we ask all of our guests to keep the facilities clean.
• These cabins are old and have a historical value, please take care of them.
• Each cabin shall be cleaned by the guests before they leave.
• Cleaning services can be asked for.
• If the above terms are not considered then an extra fee will be charged for cleaning.
• All damages to the farm will be charged.
• Animals are under no circumstances allowed inside any cabin or room but outside they are free to run around.
• Checking in is at 15:00 on day of arrival. Checking out is at 12:00 on day of departure.
• No fee is charged for accommodation for children that dont require a bed.

Cave tours:

• The cave tour shall be payed before the tour starts.
• The cave tour begins at the reception in Fljótstunga farm.
• The rules and safety guidelines for visiting the cave (as well as the guide) must be respected at all times.
• If helmets, lights and other lended equipment is treated poorly all damages can be charged.
• Under no circumstances do we allow people under the influence of alcohol to visit the cave.

Booking conditions:

• To book a service at Fljótstunga please use the booking system of our webpage.
• For accommodation we offer two modes of reservation:
  
  • A. Full payment through the payment system of our webpage.
             There is no refund in case of cancellation but it is possible to change the date if available.
  
  • B. Provide credit card information via telephone or skype.
          The option of paying by credit card is only available in June, July and August each year.
  If you choose to provide credit card information for reservation please note that the following terms and conditions apply:
  1. 30% of the total fee will be charged for reservation.
  2. 50 % of the total fee will be charged in case of a cancellation 10 days prior to arrival date.
  3. Total fee will be charged in case of cancellation 5 days or less prior to arrival date.

• For cave tours:

At Fljótstunga we only take a certain amount of people to the cave at a time. Your reservation is very valuable.

For this reason cave tours must be fully payed for reservation through the payment system or by providing credit card information. The cancellation fee is the total price.

You can reschedule upon availability for no extra cost.

If you are less than 4 people you can pay the price per person for reservation but if no one else joins your tour you must pay the minimum price for a tour before the tour starts.

When Fljótstunga Tourist Farm receives either payment or credit card information it applies as an agreement to the terms and conditions above.
