Long Cave Tour
This tour is for cave or hike lovers. The tour starts from the main house of the Fljótstunga farm. You follow the guide in your own car (Fljótstunga maintains the road to be accesible for all cars) for a 5 min. drive. You then arrive at the parking lot from where you follow the guide on a 5 min. walk over the lava field to the large entrance of the wild cave.
This tour goes near the end of the cave (1.5km) and is a more adventureous hike. It is recommended for people in good physical condition and that have some hiking experience. In this tour one can see many unique spaces, Ice Elf City, the archeological space, the lava stalactite spaces and many lava stalagmite formations.

The minimum age for this tour is 13 years old and it is not recommended for elderly people.
Warm clothes, good boots and gloves are required.
Helmets and flashlights are included in the tour.
